Robert Bruzio

Robert Bruzio was born and raised in the Italian/American Arthur Avenue section of The Bronx.  He is a graduate from Pace University and studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting as well as at The School Of Visual Arts in NYC.  He works closely with many high profile Hollywood producers, writers and actors developing stories that inspire with characters that resonate. He spent nine years cultivating his story telling abilities with Academy Award Winning Director, John G. Avildsen (ROCKY, THE KARATE KID).  Robert is married with two children and resides in Putnam County, NY.

Robert’s recent feature film, BOTTOM OF THE 9th, was co-produced with William Chartoff (ROCKY BALBOA, CREED) and stars Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara.

Bruzio wrote the screenplay, THEIR WAY, with producer Scott Rosenfelt (HOME ALONE, CRITICAL THINKING) about legendary Atlantic City night club owner Paul “Skinny” D’Amato and Frank Sinatra. Joe Mantegna (GODFATHER 3, CRITICAL MINDS) directing.

He also co-wrote the screenplay, NAPPERS, with Raymond De Felitta (CITY ISLAND, MADOFF) and Nicholas Pileggi (GOODFELLAS, CASINO) Executive Producing.

Robert has completed two screenplays for Singapore based film finance company SALT MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT. A short film Bruzio wrote and directed titled HUNTER GATHERERS was officially selected for The Big Apple Film Festival and won the Bronze Remi Award at the Houston Film Festival.

Bruzio has also appeared on various Network TV shows including MADAM SECRETARY on CBS. Earlier in his career Robert wrote, directed and produced four music videos for legendary Heavy Metal band TWISTED SISTER, one of which was voted #1 on VH1Classics while all receiving millions of views on YouTube. Robert has also owned and operated his own production company where he produced and directed numerous commercials.
